Business Swap is an international
network especially for professional people, business
owners and the self employed. The purpose of
Business Swap is to foster the professional and personal
development of our members through education, motivation
and experience. This is accomplished through
regular meetings, networking and the Professional and
Personal Development Program into which all members are
enrolled.
Please note: You can opt to pay
the membership fee on an automatic debit of $29.95 per month
(includes admin fee of $2.45). Your first month plus joining fee
(Total $194.95) is payable with your application. All prices
include GST.

– A family member sharing the same address, as a Business
Swap
individual member, and happy to receive one set of
information, then you can join (and renew) at 60% of the
individual fee plus the joining fee.
Associate Member
– An Associate Member sharing the same business address, as
a Business
Swap
individual member, and happy to receive one set of
information, then you can join (and renew) at 60% of the
individual fee plus the joining fee
A tax invoice will be issued
and sent to you with your member kit.
By purchasing your membership
on-line you agree to adhere to the
Business Swap
Code of Ethics (listed below), and abide by the
Constitution and Rules of
Swap Australia Limited.
We may from time to time email
information and exclusive offers to you. You can
opt-out of these offers at any time by unsubscribing to our

Terms and Conditions of Membership
1.Membership is only granted once your application has been
approved.
2.We offer a pay by the month option which you agree:
a.To pay via the use of a valid credit card, the fixed and
periodic charges and fees set out on our membership application
form (such as the fixed Joining Fee - new memberships only - and
the recurring monthly fee).
b.To remain a member for the initial term of 12 months via
recurring monthly fees (payable in advance each calendar month).
c.That on the drawing date (1st of each month or the next
business day), there are sufficient funds in your nominated
credit card account to process your monthly payment
d.To advise us if the nominated account is transferred or
closed
e.To advise us if your credit card expires, is cancelled,
is lost or is subject to use without your authorisation, you
will immediately contact our office on (02) 4340 2020 or via
email:

f.That if your drawing is returned by your financial
institution, we may re-draw on your credit card account after 2
business days, or contact you to arrange alternate payment. Any
transaction fees payable by us in respect of the above may be
added to your account
g.Unless otherwise advised by you in writing, in advance of
the next billing period, your pay by the month membership will
automatically be renewed at our standard monthly membership rate
h.that your credit cards details will be securely stored
for the purpose of processing your monthly membership fee.
i.That once you have satisfied the initial agreed term of
your membership, if you wish to cancel your membership, please
notify our office in writing, and return your membership badge
at least 5 business days before the next billing cycle
3.Under our pay by the month option, we agree:
a.That after the initial terms of the arrangements made
between us and agreed by you (initial 12 month membership
period), we undertake to periodically debit your nominated
credit card account for the agreed amount
b.The first drawing under the arrangement will occur at the
time of purchasing/renewing your membership. The second and
subsequent monthly payments will be made on the 1st of the month
following your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
c.If any drawing falls due on a non-business day, it will
be charged to your credit card account on the next business day.
d.We will give you at least 14 days notice in writing, by
email or by phone when changes to the initial terms of the
arrangement are made. This notice will state the new amount,
frequency, next drawing date and any other changes to the
initial terms.
e.In the event we cannot charge your credit card, we
reserve the right to cancel your membership.
4.Upon the anniversary of your annual membership, you will
be sent an invitation to renew your membership along with an
invoice for the prescribed annual membership fee. (Applicable
only for those who pay the annual fee and not the pay by the
month fees)
5.All Fees are quoted in Australian dollars and are
inclusive of any applicable GST.
6.You agree to provide us with true, accurate, current and
complete information as required by the Membership or sign up
process to our membership package, including your complete legal
name, address, telephone number, email address and applicable
billing information (e.g credit card number and expiration date)
7.You agree to maintain and promptly update the Membership
data to keep it accurate at all times. Without limiting any
other provision of this Agreement, if you provide any
information that is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, or we
have reasonable grounds to suspect that this is the case, we
reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Membership. You
are obligated to advise us of any changes to your membership
data.
8.When your application has been approved your will receive
your membership pack which will include your tax invoice and
membership card.
9.Members may cancel their membership within the seven day
cooling off period which commences from the date of payment.
Once the seven day cooling off period has elapsed, membership is
confirmed and is not refundable.
10.Membership is not transferable.
11.Your membership entitles you to attend any club meetings
in any state, as often as you like. Regular seminar costs vary
from club to club.
12.The frequency and topics of Round Tables vary from club
to club, and are determined by the members volunteering to
conduct them.
13.The Business Swap online directory is designed
specifically for the purpose of promoting members businesses to
other members. The online directory is NOT to be used as a
source for lead generation or mass marketing via Spam email,
telemarketing, unsolicited mail, network marketing or any other
mass marketing purpose. Any member found doing this will have
their membership terminated and no refund will be given. Legal
action may also be taken. Members are advised to report
offenders to Business Swap.
14.Business Swap reserves the right to change member
benefits without prior notice.
15.
It is the right and responsibility of the member to take full
advantage of all member benefits on offer
16.Business Swap reserves the right to refuse membership to
individuals if we believe that their involvement in Business
Swap is in any way detrimental or detracts from the
organisation.
17.Business Swap accepts no responsibility for loss of
property, injury, or decisions you may make as a result of
attending Business Swap or from information received from
Business Swap.
18.Business Swap reserves the right to remove any persons
seen to be using marketing or promotional tactics deemed to be
aggressive, excessive, inappropriate or in any way negative or
detracting to Business Swap and its participants and members.
19.Members acknowledge that Business Swap may photograph
and/or record the meeting in which the member is participating.
Business Swap may choose to utilise any such photographs and/or
recordings for advertising and marketing purposes at our
discretion
20.If your membership lapses and you wish to rejoin, you
will be required to pay membership fees in arrears or rejoin and
pay the joining fee.
